This brings to mind our international symbol of freedom: Liberty Enlightening the World, the formal name for the Statue of Liberty.
The French engineer of Lady Liberty, Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel, also created the Eiffel Tower. He earned a world-wide reputation for excellence as his structures were beautiful, soundly built and lasted many lifetimes.
